This is the magic story of Cinderella told in rhymes for your delight. The beautiful illustrations will be found inside the book. Enjoy the reading! Once there was a princess named Snow White;her hair was ebony and her skin was light. Her lips were as red as the reddest rose;songs were written about her, even prose. Her stepmother Queen had a magic mirror to ask;and this for years had been her task. “Magic mirror who is most fair”“You oh, Queen; none can compare.”Every day she would get the same reply;until one day the mirror could not deny,“Snow White has surpassed your face; She is full of kindness and of grace.”She was jealous of Snow White who was so fair;this was something she couldn’t bear. The Queen arranged for a huntsman to take her away;Snow White could no longer stay!I want it done where no one knows;and in this box, her heart goes.”The huntsman could not bear to kill; For Snow White to live was his will.Snow White approached a cottage hidden deep;she was so tired she wanted to sleep. She did not know that seven dwarves lived there;and when they saw her they had to stare. She was the prettiest girl they ever did see,now how did this come to beSnow White woke up with a fright;who were these little people tonight“I hope you don’t mind, I fell asleep;I was lost in this forest so deep. The queen wanted me hurt so I had to run;If I did not, my life would be done.”The dwarves were kind and wanted her to stay; She’d help them with chores and she was safely away. Now, the mirror was asked by the evil Queen;and it said that Snow White had fled the scene. One day an old woman passed by;“Dear, here’s an apple would you like to try”Snow White saw a kind, old lady with a cloak; She was so old her voice would croak. The old lady held a red apple in one hand; And Snow White ate it just as the Queen planned! The Dwarves rushed home but it was too late;Snow White had taken the Queen’s bait.Snow White fell into a sleep-like death;they surrounded her bier with baby’s breath. By chance a prince came wandering through;and when he saw her he knew. He knew that he had fallen in love, this was the princess he had been dreaming of. He asked the dwarves if he could give her a kiss;her beauty was something he could not miss. And when he kissed her, her eyes opened wide; The prince had finally found his bride. The spell was broken; the curse was gone;Snow White had awoken with the dawn. The Queen was punished for her wicked deed;to Snow White and her prince, she was to take heed. The evil stepmother was sent to a far off land;her mirror was gone; her magic was banned. The kingdom rejoiced that Snow White was now queen; She was the kindest and fairest they had ever seen. The dwarves became her everlasting friends; And this is where the happy tale ends! And the moral of this story is:When you become jealous you can do things that may or will hurt others. Be contented with what you have been blessed with. Don’t be jealous of what you don’t have and be happy for others. And when in difficult times, know you can always count on someone, whether family or friends. Download your copy today!
